Recycling Appeal Start Date: March 1999 Registered Charity No: SCO19724 |
The Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) built and runs two beautiful hospices for children with life limiting conditions and their families. Rachel House, in Kinross, has provided respite care, terminal care and bereavement support to families for nearly 10 years. Robin House in Balloch opened in August 2005 and offers similar services to Rachel House as well as specialist facilities for teenagers.
Fundraising Project
At the very heart of the CHAS story are the local businesses, schools, churches, individuals and groups who have helped raise the funds to build Scotland’s two children’s hospices. The challenge for CHAS now is to raise the £5 million needed each year to ensure both Robin and Rachel House are there for as long as the families need them - recycle for CHAS and you can help the charity meet these costs. If you would like more information about CHAS, you can visit www.chas.org.uk.
