Support Comic Relief in 2009 by donating old mobile phones and printer cartridges

This year it is easy to support Comic Relief - simply by donating old mobile phones and printer cartridges.

Raising money for this life-changing charity through product donation will help support its projects at home and abroad. And, it can all be done without making any cash donations.

Holding a 'bring a phone to work day’, where staff are encouraged to take part and bring in old phones or printer cartridges on a designated day, could easily raise hundreds or thousands of pounds for this very worthwhile cause!

Comic Relief needs your support this year more than ever, and now it could not be easier to encourage staff to get involved and really make a difference.

Earn Nectar Points

Sainsburys are making it easier to be a little bit greener and collect Nectar points too! You can collect Nectar points by shopping in store and recycling. For every phone and inkjet you recycle you can choose to get the full value in Nectar points, give the full value to Comic Relief or choose half points and half to charity!

Here’s how it works…

For a mobile phone that is reusable you can earn 600 Nectar Card points, donate £3 to Comic Relief or earn 300 Nectar Card points and donate £1.50 to Comic Relief.

For a mobile phone that is recyclable you can earn 200 Nectar Card points, donate £1 to Comic Relief or earn 100 Nectar Card points and donate 50p to Comic Relief.

For each reusable inkjet you can earn 100 Nectar Card points, donate 50p to Comic Relief or earn 50 Nectar Card points and donate 25p to Comic Relief.

Please Note: We recycle all mobile phones however we cannot accept epson, epson compatible or damaged cartridges. For a full list of accepted printer cartridges click here.
