The Ramblers are Britains biggest walking charity, working for over 70 years to promote walking and imporve conditions for everyone who walks in England, Scotland and Wales.

They work to promote everyday walking to everyone of all ages, backgrounds and abilities in towns and cities as well as in the countryside. New rights of access to the countryside are the results of a long fought campaign by the Ramblers who are also working hard to keep the footpath network clear and improve its attractions to walkers. Whether you're an old hand or a complete beginner, the Ramblers can help you get the best out of walking.

As the Ramblers are funded almost entirely by subscriptions and dontions, the Recycling Appeal is a great way to help their work securing new national parks, protecting wild land and promoting publice transport as well as environmentally friendly farming and sustainable development.
