World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK) is dedicated to preventing cancer. We do this by:

Funding scientists in the UK and overseas to carry out research that improves our understanding about how diet, physical activity and weight management affect cancer risk. Running education programmes that tell people in the UK what they can do to reduce their risk of cancer. By giving people science-based information, we give them the chance to make informed lifestyle choices.

WCRF UK is part of a global network of charities working towards the same goal. We were the first cancer charity to focus on the links between diet and cancer and today we continue to be at the cutting edge of cancer prevention. Our vital work is entirely funded by the public, which is why your support is fundamental to our continued work in the field of cancer prevention.

Fundraising Project

WCRF UK funds about £2 million of scientific research a year into how diet, physical activity and weight management affects cancer risk. By recycling mobile phones, mp3 players, printer ink cartridges and sat navs you are raising vital funds for WCRF UK’s work. Through raising money for our education and research programmes, people can make a positive contribution to preventing cases of cancer in the future.

Please Note: We recycle all mobile phones however we cannot accept epson, epson compatible or damaged cartridges. For a full list of accepted printer cartridges click here.
