Wildlife Trusts Recycling Appeal Start Date: October 2008 |
There are 47 local Wildlife Trusts across the whole of the UK, the Isle of Man and Alderney. We are working for an environment rich in wildlife for everyone.
With 765,000 members, we are the largest UK voluntary organisation dedicated to conserving the full range of the UK’s habitats and species, whether they be in the countryside, in cities or at sea.
We manage 2,200 nature reserves covering more than 84,000 hectares; we stand up for wildlife; we inspire people about the natural world and we foster sustainable living.
All of the Trusts work together on national and international issues and matters of common concern through a loose, informal, partnership-like arrangement called The Wildlife Trusts.
Believing that wildlife is essential to a healthy environment for human beings, we work with people from all walks of life – industry, government, landowners, communities and families – to make sure nature gets a chance The Wildlife Trusts campaign for better protection of our precious wildlife and habitats, raising the awareness of the public and government to wildlife threats is central to our role.
Our recycling campaign is a ‘win-win’ situation for The Wildlife Trust. An opportunity for us to raise much needed funds, with the added bonus of action for the environment through active recycling.
PLEASE recycle your old mobile phones, inkjets and toner cartridges, as you will make a real difference to our ability to protect Wildlife Trusts and wild places for generations to come.
Please Note: We recycle all mobile phones however we cannot accept epson, epson compatible or damaged cartridges. For a full list of accepted printer cartridges click here.
