Press Release
Recycling Appeal Start Date: October 2005 Registered Charity No: 1015988 |
WRVS is one of the UK’s largest providers of practical support for older people in the community. They need your help to keep supporting people in need who might otherwise feel lonely and isolated, whether at home, in hospital, or in times of crisis.
WRVS has over 60 years experience working with other charities, organisations, local authorities and the NHS, to meet the needs of communities throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Your participation in the Recycling Appeal will help WRVS continue to offer our valuable services across Britain.
WRVS provides services thanks to 70,000 dedicated volunteers including lunch clubs and social clubs, community centers, home library services and Meals on Wheels. Their nationwide WRVS emergency services teams are ready to respond 365 days a year.
